Description

This course aims to develop student’s ability and confidence to present on academic topics. Students learn how to organise the content of academic presentations, the required skills for effective delivery and how to deal with questions. Students learn to present: definitions of concepts, explanations of processes or procedures descriptions of problems and solutions. They also learn to give a data presentation. The course has the added advantage of being of value for spoken assessments in other subjects and for future employment.

Class limits information for 2016: Semester One enrolment is limited to 24 students and Semester Two enrolment is limited to 24 students, with admission on a first in, first enrolled basis.
