Approaches to Archaeological Science

Description

An introduction to the application of scientific techniques in archaeology. Topics covered will include: site location, remote sensing, dating, sourcing archaeological material, residue analysis, investigation of artefact manufacture and use and study of archaeological sediments. Coursework will include a series of practical laboratories.
