Description

Directed research on an assigned topic. The first three weeks of the course will concentrate on preparatory issues, including the purpose of research, the formulation of a viable research proposal and the identification of methodological issues. In weeks four to six, students will develop individual research topics through group supervision in discussion with staff and fellow students. In the second half of the course, students will receive individual supervision and give an oral presentation as they produce an extended research essay. This is a required course for all BA(Hons) students in Media, Film and Television.
