Description

The course explores current concepts, methods and issues in language assessment, covering both large-scale tests of proficiency and achievement and classroom-based procedures for assessing progress in language learning. There is a particular focus on evaluating the quality of language assessment procedures and on developing appropriate formats for a specific assessment purpose.
