Philosophy of Religion 1

Description
There will be two main topics for this course: (1) an examination of David Hume's critique of "anthropomorphite" theology in his Dialogues Concerning Natural Religion and its contemporary relevance, and (2) exploration of concepts of God as found in key thinkers in the American pragmatist tradition – John Dewey, Charles S. Peirce and William James.
