Description
Wittgenstein
This course will consist of a dedicated study of the text of Wittgenstein's Philosophical Investigations. This "study" will not consist of lectures but of mutual endeavour. In the very first week of lectures, and each of the five weeks thereafter, enrolled students will be expected to submit one single space A4 page to an email list, summarising about 50 paragraphs. After the break, the A4 page will be on specific topics, set each week.

Ludwig Wittgenstein, translated GEM Anscombe, Philosophical Investigations. The 3rd edition with a revised translation (2001, ISBN 0-631-23127-7, or pbk 0-631-23159-5) is desirable but not essential.
