Description

This course will analyse and assess the roles, institutions and practices of New Zealand’s diplomats and their work in political and international context. Topics will include New Zealand’s diplomacy, trade and defence policies and relations with key states, regions and international organisations. Coverage will range from the South Pacific and Asia to North America, Europe and the Middle East. Lecturers will include Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade officials and guest speakers.
