The Making of the Irish Free State
The Making of Northern Ireland.

Tutorial Focus Question

Write an essay examining historians' interpretations of the character of either Michael Collins or Patrick Pearse, and of that figures's contribution to early twentieth century Irish life.  Do you believe historians have been guilty of viewing your chosen figure through rose-coloured glasses?
