Required text
The Course Reader, which is a collection of academic journal articles, book chapters,
popular magazine articles and short stories, will serve as the main text of the course.
You are encouraged to read other readings suggested in the course. In addition,
a few documentaries and feature films will be used in class.
You are encouraged to follow current events of Korea by reading major newspapers such as the Korea
Herald.
