Introduction to Written Māori


Description

An introduction to listening, reading, writing and translation techniques used in the composition, reading and understanding of basic Maori. Designed for students with little or no knowledge of the language, and for those with some fluency wishing to understand simple sentence structure and composition.

Reading/Texts

None. There are no prescribed texts in this course, however, he strongly recommend that you obtain a Maori-English, Maori Dictionary to help you with vocabulary translations.
