Imperialism and Immigration in the Americas
Description
This course examines the relationship between migration and imperialism in the Americas through the framework of critical anthropology as a discipline and through the use of contemporary case studies. This course critically engages with the role of the United States as an imperial power in and draws significantly from decolonial, post-colonial work and work produced by scholars in Latin America.
