Special Topic: Early Modern Literature
Description
Explores selected works of early modern literature in their cultural, political, and theatrical contexts. Topics may include gender, identity, ethnicity, performance and embodiment, print culture, and the global afterlives of early modern texts. Engages critically with texts and contexts through close reading, performance analysis, and research-based writing.
