Youth Sociology

Web Course Description:
Introduces students to historical and contemporary debates in the social constructions of youth by exploring their relationships with; work; education; youth culture; digital and social media; place and space; risk and risk taking: crime; health and well-being; citizenship and mobility. These themes are discussed by drawing upon the framework of the sociological imagination giving students a deep insight into the diverse work in the sociology of youth.
