Tradition and History in New Zealand Archaeology


Description

Examines Maori traditions and history as a guide to processes in the New Zealand archaeology. Case studies will include Maori canoe traditions, the expeditions of Hongi Hika and Te Rauparaha, and the Ngai Tahu settlement of the South island.
