Description

Investigate Greek and Roman mythology via Ovid’s Metamorphoses: from the creation of the universe, to the actions of the gods, to human stories of change, triumph and disaster. Examine how Ovid adapted established myths such as Narcissus and Echo, Hermaphroditus, and Pygmalion. Study his novel twists on well-known stories, and learn how his work dominated Western knowledge of Classical myth for two thousand years.
