Directed Study in Playwriting

Description

Either an analytic or academic study of playwriting or a workshopping and developing of an original script-in-progress or dramaturgical development of someone else’s script-in-progress or a short drama writing project, either original or adaptation. Students must submit an initial proposal which will be developed in consultation with the supervisor(s). If the project is an original play, then the script must not be more than half an hour in length. Projects must be approved and teaching is by supervision.

Please consult the Graduate Advisor to set your research topic and have a supervisor assigned.
