Description

Topic-based oral and written expression, aural and written comprehension in French, covering a wide range of personal and professional situations. This course is designed for students with 24 credits in Level 3 NCEA French, or who have passed FRENCH 203 or 269.

May not be taken if a more advanced language acquisition course in this subject has previously been passed.

Course outcomes

By the end of the course, students must demonstrate a competent working knowledge of language topics set out in the syllabus. Students must be confident in applying this knowledge to the four skills areas of reading, listening, speaking and writing.
