German Language Intermediate 1

Description

Written and oral use of German. Assumes that students have passed GERMAN 102 or have achieved in all standards entered for German NCEA Level 3, or have acquired language competence through a stay or exchange in a German-speaking country. The approach is communicative, with German being used wherever possible as the language of instruction. The course aims at both fluency and accuracy in German.

Class limits information for 2017: Enrolment is limited to 35 students with selection based on: Students who have passed GERMAN 102, or whose Language Ability Declaration confirms adequate preparation, will be selected on a first in first enrolled basis.
