German Language Intermediate 1

Description

This course is designed for students who have passed GERMAN 102 or have achieved in all standards entered for German NCEA Level 3, or have acquired language competence through a stay or exchange in a German-speaking country. 

The approach is communicative with German used wherever possible as the language of instruction. The course aims at both fluency and accuracy in German. In conjunction with GERMAN 201, this course prepares students for the Zertifikat Deutsch B1 offered by the Goethe Institut.

Provisional class limits information for 2018: Enrolment is limited to 35 students.
