Violence and Pain

Description

Examines the meanings of violence and the various forms it might take, as well as how violence and pain shape ideas about personhood, the body, community and the State. Examines how experiences of pain are communicated, how various forms of violence shape and transform daily lives, and what can health social science do to address these impacts.
