Description

Instruction in the intermediate music and dance forms of specific Pacific nations. Practical focus on the acquisition of fundamental music and dance skills, for example songs, commands, gestures, posture, costumes, discussion of styles, instruments, performer categories and the place of the performing arts in the identified Pacific cultures. Two to four basic music and dance items will normally be taught during the semester.
