Please note: this is archived course information from 2019 for PACIFIC 210.

Description

Pacific Music and Dance 2 offers an exploration of storytelling in the Pacific keeping with Polynesian traditions and literacies.

By fostering the creative embodiment of knowledge in performance and oratory, the class will collectively devise a performance of their identity. In doing this, we will consider what it means for Pacific peoples in Aotearoa New Zealand to reach back and pull forward through the performance of story.
