Applied Social Research

Description
This course provides a broad understanding of issues involved in designing and implementing research projects that have practical relevance, such as improving social services, developing or altering social policy, or evaluating a social programme. Several researchers from the University of Auckland will discuss the details of their own projects. Students will have an opportunity to question them using these projects to learn more about applied research.
