Note 1:
On the final exam students select 3 out of 9 items on Spain (one place, one date, one term) and 3 out of 9 items on the Hispanic world outside Spain (one place, one date, one term), define them and explain their significance for Hispanic culture (writing 4-6 lines for each).

Note 2:
The following list gives brief definitions as clues to aid in looking up more detailed information in library books (found in the reference, short loan and regular sections of the General Library). Most items are also covered at some length in the Fuentes video and book and in class lectures. Students should consult the lecturer about items in doubt when reviewing before the final exam.
