Class participation	10%	Ongoing assessments Attendance 5% Quality of class performance 5% You must attend at least 50% of the lectures and tutorials to receive any points in either of these two categories.	In order for the teachers to deliver the tutorials and assess students’ participation effectively, please ensure that you are attending the stream that is allocated to you on nDdeva.

Notes:

For all tests, no make-up tests will be available. In genuinely exceptional circumstances well supported with documentation, students may apply for an aegrotat or compassionate pass by following the same procedure which governs the University's examination regulations.
Successful language learning requires that you attend classes regularly and well prepared. Therefore, both oral and written class exercises will be given to you throughout the semester.
